Play, Clean, Go!

However you choose to spend time outdoors, whether it's hiking, climbing, horseback riding, or gardening, you can stop invasive species in your tracks! Learn how to prevent invasive species movement during your outdoor adventures.

Clean, Drain, and Dry!

Protect the lakes and rivers you love from aquatic invasive species! Before and after putting your boat, kayak, or angling gear in the water, make sure you:

CLEAN your watercraft, trailer, angling gear and other equipment. Remove all aquatic vegetation and animal species from your equipment.

DRAIN your watercraft at the ramp by removing the boat plug and draining all live wells and ballast tanks.

DRY your watercraft, trailer and other equipment for at least 7 days before visiting another waterbody.

Buy It Where You Burn It!

Moving firewood can accidentally transport invasive insects. Buy firewood local to the area where you are going to burn it and don't move firewood long distances.
