Join us for our next council meeting. NISC meetings serve as a forum for the discussion, identification, and understanding of invasive species issues, awareness, and mitigation practices throughout the state. Meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to contribute and share their insights on invasives species prevention, control, and management.

The Council holds ten meetings per year from January through May and August through December. Meetings do not take place during the months of June and July. Meetings occur on the second Friday of each month from 10 am to 12 pm CST.

Meetings are held at locations throughout the state, typically in or near Lincoln, NE. An online option is also available for those who cannot attend in person and would like to attend virtually. If you would like the Zoom registration link to attend a future meeting virtually, please email us
